Is this a count of people?	No. It counts blanks issued. Nothing about the visitor is stored — no address, no browser, no cookies.
Can the number be trusted?	It is an indicator, not an audited figure. The endpoint that records an issuance can be called by hand, so treat the numbers as a sign of interest, not as accounting.
Does a popular configuration mean a correct one?	No. Nothing is validated and nothing is recommended — the choice and its consequences are yours.
